Job Description
Acacia College is inviting applicants for a Manager/ Assistant Senior Manager position. Acacia College provide a unique living and learning experience for undergraduates in their first and second year. It will offer the UTown College Programme (UTCP) and contribute towards a holistic education that integrates academic, social, and personal development.
The incumbent for this position will provide administrative support to manage the academic programme and outreach matters at the residential college. This is a full-time position which is offered on a 2-year renewable appointment for the first instance and is intended to be a long-term appointment for a suitable candidate.
The following lists the key job functions for this position:
- Assist Director of Studies to oversee course planning/submissions/reviews, curriculum planning and timetabling matters.
- Manage course registrations and allocation exercise, handle course related appeals and provide advice on learning pathways.
- Generate course allocation and general statistics for the academic programme for review
- Keep track of students' academic data (academic plan tagging, programme completion progress, student learning plans).
- Facilitate BOE processes and submission of exam reports.
- Serve as point of contact for academic initiatives, queries and reviews.
- Coordinate outreach activities such as NUS Open Day, career fair/talks and school outreach and visitor tours.
- Recruitment and training of student ambassadors.
- Strategize and build up College's branding and identity that is aligned with its vision and mission.
- Develop and procure collaterals and publicity materials for outreach
- Maintenance and upkeep of College website and other social media platforms.
- Undertake other assigned duties as and when required.
Qualifications
- A university degree with at least 8 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
- Willingness to learn with an eye for detail.
- Adaptable with a positive work attitude.
- Able to work independently and as a team.
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
