Job Description

  • Develop and craft impactful speeches for University leaders to be delivered at major events, alumni gatherings and official functions.
  • Lead the conceptualisation and creation of compelling content across a range of platforms, including websites, email and collateral materials.
  • Design and implement targeted email drip campaigns to enhance alumni engagement and support the onboarding of new alumni.
  • Research, ideate and write creative feature articles and stories for The AlumNUS, ensuring clear, engaging and impactful messaging.
  • Collaborate closely with both Global and Local Engagement teams to effectively promote alumni events, programmes and initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency of all content with NUS branding guidelines, serving as a proactive brand advocate and foster alumni loyalty.
  • Partner with the alumni engagement teams, NUS departments and external stakeholders to source content, brainstorm ideas and coordinate editorial projects from conception to completion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ proven experience in digital communications, content creation or similar roles.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with demonstrated skill in producing engaging and audience-specific content.
  • Creative mindset with a talent for generating innovative ideas and crafting content that resonates with the alumni community.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skill for effective collaboration across teams and with external partners.
  • Good analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights for informed decisions and continuously enhance content effectiveness.
  • Excellent organisational and project management, capabilities, adept at handling multiple projects concurrently while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work beyond standard office hours and during weekends when required for key events or deadlines.
