Job Description

Housed under the Office of the Provost, the NUS Care Unit is a specialist in-house provider of trauma-informed care to both staff and students of the campus community at large. We specialize in providing high-level support and care for survivors of sexual misconduct in their journey of recovery. 

 

We are looking for an Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the unit.

 

·    Administrative and secretarial support to the unit and the NCU Director
·    Coordinate, liaise and assist with the planning and organising of Unit's meetings with both internal and external parties
·    Establish and oversee proactive outreach to raise community awareness through multi-pronged platforms such as campus outreach activities, public lecture series, in-conversation series and campus-wide posters
·    Preparation of presentation slides, management reports or any other ad hoc reports required from time to time
·    Oversee budget and finance matters for the unit
·    Oversee IT and website support requirements for the unit
·    Support procurement for the unit including vendor sourcing and evaluation, oversee contract management
·    Take charge of all ad hoc projects required from time to time
·    Assist Care Lead/ Managers to liaise with NUS Management as well as with authorities, including the police, hospitals and lawyers, as and when needed
·    Any other duties assigned

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree 
•    Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience
•    Relevant work experience in NUS or other universities is a plus 
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
•    Organized and meticulous
•    Good-team player and self-motivated
•    Possess excellent customer service and communication skills 
•    Independent and able to work with minimum supervision
•    Able to work with students and staff of culturally diverse backgrounds 
•    Able to work effectively and confidently in a highly confidential and sensitive client-focused environment
