Job Description
AI Singapore (AISG) is a national AI programme launched by the National Research Foundation (NRF) to anchor deep national capabilities in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The programme office is hosted by the National University of Singapore (NUS) and brings together all Singapore-based research institutions and the vibrant ecosystem of AI start-ups and companies developing AI products to perform use-inspired research, grow the knowledge, create the tools, and develop the talent to power Singapore’s AI efforts
AI Singapore is sourcing for an individual to join the Marcom team as a Marketing Executive. The candidate will play a pivotal role in developing and executing digital marketing and social media campaigns for the AIAP talent development programmes such as the AIAP Foundation, AI Apprenticeship Programme (AIAP), AIAP (Industry), LLM Application Developer Programme (LADP), and AI Internship Programme (AIIP). Additionally, the person will support AISG’s events and assist with public relations (PR) activities as needed
Duties & Responsibilities
1.Social Media & Digital Campaigns (70%)
• Plan, execute, and manage digital and social media marketing campaigns for AI Singapore’s AIAP talent development programmes, ensuring alignment with programme objectives
• Create engaging and audience-specific content for platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok etc.
• Track and evaluate campaign performance, generate reports, and refine strategies for continuous improvement
• Stay informed on current digital marketing trends, social media developments, and best practices in AI educatio
2. Event Marketing Support (10%)
• Collaborate with the events team to develop marketing materials and strategies for AISG’s events, including webinars, workshops, and conferences
• Promote AISG’s events across various channels and support logistics coordination when required
• Liaise with external vendors and partners to support event marketing effort
3. Public Relations & Communications (10%)
• Assist the Head of Marcom in executing PR activities related to AI Singapore’s AIAP talent development programmes and AISG-wide
• Support communications for programme launches and key announcements across digital and traditional media channels (website, social media, newsletters, media, etc.
4. Collaboration & Cross-functional Support (10%)
• Coordinate with internal teams, including AI Innovation Ops and Programme Managers to ensure cohesive messaging across campaigns
• Contribute to various marketing and communication needs for ad-hoc projects and organisational initiatives
Qualifications
Qualification, Experience & Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience in a marketing, communications, or a similar role
• Experience in tech or education sectors, especially in AI-related programmes, is a strong advantage
• Proven ability to plan and execute digital and social media campaigns with measurable outcomes (e.g. brand awareness, lead generation, user sign-ups, and customer engagement)
• Strong proficient in managing key social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Tiktok, etc.
• Familiar with digital advertising platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
• Skilled in copywriting, content creation and design
• Experience in event marketing and public relations is a plus
• Excellent multitasking, time management and project coordination skills.
