Job Description
The following lists the key job functions for this position:
1. Establishing and implementing new mediation service
• Develop and implement process workflows to support effective delivery of mediation service
• Create mediation document templates, guidelines, and case resolution documentation
• Coordinate onboarding of professional mediators and key stakeholders
2. Case Management and Assessment: Evaluate case suitability, ensure prompt follow-up of mediation cases and organise mediation sessions
3. Documentation and reporting: Maintain accurate record-keeping of all mediation cases
4. Scheduling and coordination: Coordinate liaison with various stakeholders and organise mediation sessions
5. Administrative support: Serve as the main point-of-contact for mediation-related inquiries and support any process improvements
6. Undertake any other assigned duties as and when required
This is a full-time position which is offered on a 2-year renewable appointment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in law or a related field is preferred
• Relevant experience in legal practice, administration, or management within a legal context, or in roles related to mediation, counselling, conflict resolution, or dispute management, is preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse stakeholders and manage sensitive situations with discretion, empathy, and sound judgment
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
