Job Description

Scope and Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent and collaborative research in macroeconomics.
• Contribute to ongoing projects led by the principal investigator (PI).
• Publish findings in high-quality peer-reviewed journals.
• Present research at conferences, workshops, and seminars.
• Mentor graduate and undergraduate students as needed.

Required skills and interests:

• Strong background in economic theory and quantitative methods.
• Expertise in Stata, R, Python, MATLAB, etc.
• Demonstrated interest in macroeconomics, specifically fields aligned the PI’s research interests.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for disseminating research findings.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
   

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Economics or a related field (completed or nearing completion).
• Proven track record of academic publications or working papers.
• Experience in conducting and designing research projects.

• Position is full-time and funded for one year with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability.
