The Health & Wellbeing (HWB) Programmes team drives initiatives that support the wellbeing of staff and students. We work closely with partners across the university to create a supportive, inclusive and sustainable environment.
We are looking for a Programme & Strategic Communications Manager to support and shape our engagement efforts, from campaigns and events to new, scalable ways of reaching the NUS community.
As the Programme & Strategic Communications Manager, you are expected to:
Campaigns & Communications
• Lead the strategic design/refresh of key wellbeing campaigns and outreach efforts, leveraging insights from multiple data sources (from pre-post campaign surveys, annual staff wellbeing survey etc) to shape clear objectives, target priority segments, and refine key messages.
• Translate insights into clear, engaging communications across different channels.
• Optimise and develop new communications platforms, e.g. email, internal platforms such as staff/student portals, HWB website, webinars, and other digital resources) to improve accessibility and reach.
Programmes & Events
• Plan, coordinate and execute a range outreach initiatives (e.g. talks, workshops and flagship events (physical and virtual)).
• Scale reach and impact through development of accessible and integrated formats (e.g. cross-department programmes, shared platforms, and wider resource sharing)
• Digital Innovation & Process Improvements.
• Explore innovative ways to use digital tools or technology to improve engagement, streamline processes, and extend reach.
• Monitor participation and feedback and translate insights into practical actionable improvements to strengthen future campaigns, programmes, and outreach efforts.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
• Drive collaborations with internal partners (e.g. OSA, UHC, OHR, faculties) to co-create and implement integrated wellbeing initiatives, leveraging collective expertise, networks, and touchpoints.
• Manage external vendors (e.g. creative agencies, event organisers) to co-deliver initiatives and ensure smooth execution.
Qualifications
• Background in programme management, events, public health, communications or related areas with about 5 years of relevant experience
• Interest in health and wellbeing
• Ability to work independently and get up to speed quickly
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Clear communication and a hands-on, practical approach with the ability to follow through and getting things done
