Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Dr Matthias Hoffmann-Kuhnt on Dolphin echolocation capabilities and behavior under a project on Marine Biodiversity Living lab WP 3.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Conduct sensory and cognitive / behavioral research at Resorts World Sentosa. 
• Daily data collection on cognitive tests with the resident dolphins, 
• Data analysis using Microsoft EXCEL, WORD and statistical software.
• Maintenance of research equipment

Qualifications

Qualifications / Discipline:

• Diploma / Bachelor of Science or equivalent (science, veterinary science etc)

Skills:

• Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel Access etc)
• Basic knowledge of operant conditioning
• Animal behaviour
• Must be able to lift 25 kg

Experience: 

• Marine Mammal Training preferred
• Operant conditioning
• Basic data analysis
