Job Description
The Cancer Science Institute of Singapore is seeking a Research Assistant to support wet-lab experiments, assist in laboratory maintenance, and actively contribute to the intellectual environment of the Khong Lab. Our lab focuses on understanding dysregulated RNA processes in tumorigenesis, with a particular interest in stress granules—cytoplasmic RNA-protein condensates that form in response to tumour-related stressors. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing ongoing projects while ensuring efficient lab operations and engaging in scientific discussions.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Carry out wet-lab experiments
• Help maintain the laboratory
• Be intellectually involved in driving projects
Qualifications
• At least 8 month of experience in wet lab techniques
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent
• Intellectually engaged
• Have experience working with hypoxic chamber
• Have experience with generating CRISPR-KO cells or organisms
• Have experience with confocal microscopy
