Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Asst Prof. Anjan Soumyanarayanan on GHz spectroscopy under a project on Chiral Spin-Textured Resonances for Sustainable GHz Nano-Electronics.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
1. Brillouin and microwave spectroscopy of magnetic films
2. Spectroscopy data acquisition, processing, and analysis
3. Maintenance and upkeep of spectrometers
Qualifications
• Qualifications / Discipline: Bachelor or Masters degree in the physical sciences.
• Skills:
- Background in solid-state, quantum, or materials/device physics
- Experience with optical/electrical measurements and instruments
- Scripting for data acquisition and analysis (e.g., LabVIEW, Python)
- Good team player, good communication skills and fast learner
• Experience:
- Past project experience in related topics would be preferred
- Those with no experience may also apply
