Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Professor Barbaros Oezyilmaz on Analysis of Spin Transport in 2D Materials under a project on Room-temperature, gate-tunable ferromagnetism in a 2D semiconductor.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
1. Exfoliate high-quality 2D crystals
2. Develop state-of-art techniques for stacking van der Waals heterostructures
Qualifications and Requirements
• Qualifications / Discipline: Bachelor Degree in Physics
• Skills: Theoretical condensed matter physics
• Experience:
1. Research experience in 2D materials
2. Over 3 years’ experience in experimental studies in condensed matter physics
3. Fluent in English
