APSH-NUS Hypertension Research Network Center
Part of the NUSMed Cardiovascular-Metabolic Disease Translational Research Program
(1) Human research and subject protection certification (CITI, ethics);
(2) Human biomedical research (HBR) training and certification;
(3) study administration (ethics platform management, ECOS, NUS IRB);
(4) basic Microsoft office documents editing (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook);
(5) basic biostatistics (JMP software or equivalent);
(6) questionnaire-based research;
(7) Qualtrics or survey-platform deployment;
(8) RedCaps or research database management;
(9) friendly, outgoing, motivated and self-initiated character.
Scope of research work:
- “Questionnaire-based surveys on knowledge, attitudes, and practice in the diagnosis and management of hypertension among doctors, patients, caregivers, and allied health professionals.”
- Support grant proposals in new areas of research
Qualifications
- Basic degree in biomedical sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or similar.
- Other certifications in human research training are advantageous.
- Fresh graduates may be considered, and intensive training provided.
