Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Lu Yuyun on developing a cow-less milk through fermentation under a project on Cow-less milk made by fungi and microbes working together.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Research related work: The RA will help develop cow-less milk made by fungi and microbes working together. The related fermentation conditions (e.g., strains, substrates, temperature, durations etc) will be optimized to get the ideal yield of protein (by specific fungi) and short-chain fatty acid (SCFA).
- Lab related work: lab safety and instrument/facility maintenance, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Food Science.
Experience:
- Food fermentation, HPLC, GC-MS, etc.
Skills:
- Better to have some food fermentation and flavour science related skills
