Qualifications

•    Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a discipline within the social sciences but Master's degree is preferred 
•    Expertise or interest in political science/comparative politics/public policy, focused particularly on Southeast Asia 
•    Strong analytical ability and self-motivation
•    Demonstrated experience or training in conducting social science research, including designing and conducting surveys
•    Mastery of Microsoft Word and Excel programs
•    Able to use statistical software to analyze and organize data 
•    Responsible and detail oriented
•    Quick in learning and creative in providing solutions
•    Independent, self-starter with initiative and commitment
•    Excellent spoken and written English
•    Able to access, read and summarize resources in Indonesian language for one of the projects, including Indonesian language newspapers and primary documents
•    A collegial and amicable personality
•    Enjoys working alone but can also work well in teams
•    A strong interest in pursuing a PhD in a social science discipline and/or conducting social science research is a plus.
