Job Description

The research engineer will
•    lead the development, testing, and validation of an AI-driven tool to support the construction of Techno-Economic Analysis models 

•    work closely with Prof. Yoel Cortés-Peña to design the framework that the agentic AI system will operate on, including the input and output formats for each agent, the underlying data sources, and the best-practices they must adhere to 

•    work with Prof. Yunyi Li on the AI-agent/Human-expert collaboration aspects of the tool, including the programmatic interface that they will leverage and the safeguards to ensure user data and code are protected

Job Requirements

The candidate must have B.S. in Chemical Engineering or a closely related field. The candidate also must have computational research experience and a strong interest in agentic AI systems and processing technologies.
