Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Associate Professor Zhigang Yao on a project titled “Single Particle Cryo-Electron Microscopy: Reconstruction and Uncertainty Quantification”.
The main responsibilities of the position include:
• Collaborating with the research team to develop and apply neural network methods and manifold fitting theories for CryoEM 3D reconstruction.
• Conducting large-scale numerical experiments.
• Assisting with the preparation of research papers and presentations.
Qualifications
Qualifications / Discipline:
• A Bachelor degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
• Solid foundation in mathematical concepts.
Skills:
• Proficiency in coding and programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB).
• Knowledge of neural networks and machine learning is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Experience:
• Experience with numerical methods or data analysis is preferred.
• Familiarity with manifold fitting theories is a plus.
