The selected candidate will perform a variety of research activities which include coordinating, organising and participating in research studies under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or his/her designate, including but not limited to the following:-
- Perform tasks and support all aspects of the research project.
- Design and implement search strategy for peer-reviewed and grey literature.
- Conduct literature reviews and scoping reviews; synthesize and summarize research findings.
- Support data acquisition, cleaning, management, and statistical analysis.
- Develop and maintain dashboards for project monitoring and reporting.
- Assist with data visualization and the preparation of research reports, presentations, and publications.
- Support and/or contribute towards research protocol development.
- Assist ethical review application submission to local institutions.
- Contribute to the development of funding grant proposals and preparation of progress and final reports to stakeholders.
- Support project coordination tasks, including scheduling, meeting documentation, and milestone tracking.
- Assist in the organisation of events such as conferences, seminars, and training workshops.
- Contribute to project management activities, research presentations, and publications, including occasional project demonstrations where applicable.
- Perform other related duties incidental to the work described therein.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Statistics / Biostatistics / Data Science / Epidemiology (with strong quantitative focus)
- Proficient in at least one statistical software package (e.g. STATA, SPSS, SAS, R).
- Demonstrated experience with synthesis projects, using reference management software (e.g. EndNote, Zotero) and literature screening tools (e.g. COVIDENCE, Rayyan.ai)
- Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI or Tableau).
- Proven track record of contributing to peer-reviewed publications in healthcare or biomedical research.
- Good foundation in statistical theory, methods, and application to real-world datasets.
- Possess strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of working independently while also being a collaborative team player with a proactive and adaptable mindset.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to liaise professionally with clinicians, researchers, and technical staff.
