Job Description
We are looking for a highly talented and self-motivated candidate to conduct independent research in the field of advanced photocatalysis. The primary objective of this Research Engineer position is to design multi-functional photocatalysts based on single atoms with active interfaces and explore their environmental and energy-related applications. Key tasks in this project will be to cooperate with team members for an effective scalable synthesis, advanced structural characterisation, and optimisation of the performance of novel photocatalysts for practical applications.
Job Requirements
• Possess at least a master’s degree in environmental engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or other relevant related field.
• Has prior experience with photocatalysis as evident from peer-reviewed international journal publications is required.
• Having relevant experience with advanced material characterization techniques such as SEM/EDS, TEM, STEM, XRD, XAS, XPS, FTIR, and Raman Spectroscopy is highly desired.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
