Job Description
We are hiring a Research Engineer (RE) to develop a novel knowledge-driven AI method for accelerating current computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and discrete element modelling (DEM) coupling methods.
The selected RE is required to:
• Develop a novel knowledge-driven AI framework for accelerating CFDDEM simulation
• Validate the proposed framework and applying it to granular materials related engineering such as geotechnical, coastal and chemical engineering.
• Develop a knowledge-driven AI method for accelerating coupled multi-phase modelling.
Job Requirements
• Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Demonstrate a research or professional background aligned with the development of the topic. Experience in multiple areas is highly desirable.
• Exhibit proficiency in coupled CFD DEM modelling (C++) and AI-related algorithms (python).
• Display strong teamwork capabilities and effective communication skills.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
