The National University of Singapore invites applications for the position of Research Fellow in the Department of Computer Science, School of Computing (SoC). We seek to play an active role both internationally and locally in the core and emerging areas of Information Systems and Analytics.

 

The Research Fellow will be part of the group working on the Theory of Cryptography, collaborating with the Principal Investigator (PI) on foundational problems in cryptography related to average-case reductions and hardness assumptions in fine-grained cryptography. 

Job Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field like Mathematics
  • Stong background theoretical computer science who work on the foundations of cryptography, information-theoretic cryptography, or related areas of complexity theory and algorithms.
  • Good pubication record in major theory and/or cryptography conferences.
  • Excellent research skills, including data analysis, interpretation, and scientific writing
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Collaborate effectively with a team of researchers, including faculty, graduate students, and research assistant
