Job Description

The candidate will develop deep-learning frameworks and foundation models for regional/global weather/climate prediction, data assimilation, and related tasks.

Qualifications

1. Substantial experience in multimodal data processing and AI technologies, such as transformers, foundation models, and generative models.                                                                       
2. Strong programming and data analysis skills are required; Experience in Python and high-performance computing.                                                                                                  
3. Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals and top conferences.                                                                                                                                                                     
4. A Ph.D. degree in relevant fields such as computer science, image processing, or computer vision
