The CRISPR and Genome editing Lab led by Asst. Prof. HU Chunyi is a new research group in the Department of Biological Sciences at National University of Singapore. We are identifying and developing new CRISPR-Cas systems and genome editing tools for precision medicine.

 

We are actively seeking one highly motivated Post-Doctoral Fellow (Research Fellow) to join our efforts and lead projects in researching and developing novel CRISPR-Cas systems and applications based on the new systems.

Applicants should include a detailed cover letter and CV that include your (i) qualifications (ii) research interests (iii) research experience (iv). The position is available in March 2025.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in one of the disciplines: Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biophysics (Structural Biology), Bioinformatics or related fields.


Skills:

  • With good publication track. At least one research article published in top journal (IF>10) as the first author.
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and able to work well in an interdisciplinary team.
  • Highly motivated and independent.
  • Organized, dedicated and reliable.
  • Critical thinking and scientific achievement in research, exemplified by publications, conference presentations or patents.
