Job Description
The successful candidate will work with Dr QIU Yunyan on polymeric materials design and synthesis under a project on "Constructing precise mechanically interlocked polymers for highly dynamic and functional materials".
The main responsibilities of the position include:
- Developing new catalytic systems for controlled synthesis of mechanically interlocked polymers and frameworks;
- Identifying suitable monomers for controlled polymerization reactions;
- The synthesis and characterizations of functional polymers with control over their molecular weights and dispersities.
Qualifications / Discipline:
- Doctoral degree in Polymer Chemistry or Organic Chemistry
Skills:
- The design and controlled synthesis of polymeric materials
- Metal catalysed polymerization reactions
- Polymer characterizations
- Device fabrication
Experience:
- Extensive experiences in the design and precision synthesis of polymers and their structural characterizations
