Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof Lu Jiong on scanning tunneling microscopy under a project on "Atomic engineering of zigzag-edged graphene nanoribbons towards next-generation spintronics".

The main responsibilities of the position include:

1) Atomic-scale material design 
2) Quantum nanoscience

Qualifications / Discipline:

- PhD in Chemistry or Physics

Skills:  
- Scanning tunnelling microscopy

Experience:   
- Atomic-scale characterization
