Job Description

 

The Research Fellow will work on research projects related to energy systems modeling and climate policy analysis, with a focus on decarbonization pathways in Southeast Asia and social cost of carbon analysis.


Key responsibilities include:


•    Developing and applying integrated energy and climate models to evaluate net-zero transitions.
•    Supporting data analysis and model development in R/Python.
•    Contributing to academic publications and research reports.
•    Collaborating with interdisciplinary research teams and external partners.

Job Requirements


•    Possess a PhD in engineering, economics, public policy, or a related field.
•    Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
•    Experience in modeling and data analysis (e.g., R, Python).
•    Familiarity with electricity or hydrogen systems modeling, social cost of carbon estimation, or integrated assessment models is preferred.
•    Strong writing and communication skills.
•    Open to fixed-term contract
