Job Description
• Conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations
• Conduct experiments in wind tunnels and water channels
• Analyze experimental and simulation data and summarize key findings and observations
• Collaborate with other team members to design experiments, develop simulation methodologies, data collection and analysis
• Assist in the preparation of research proposals and technical reports
• Lead and contribute to peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, and internal research reporting
• Maintain organised research workflows (version control, reproducible experiments, 3D model management, documentation).
• Support broader project goals as needed (e.g., dataset curation, method benchmarking, cross-validation of simulations with actual measurements)
Job Requirements
• PhD in Mechanical/Civil/Environmental Engineering or equivalent
• Proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulations software
• Proficiency in wind tunnel and water channel experiments
• Strong passion in research and can conduct research independently
• Fluent in English and able to present research to both researchers and the general public
• Strong publication record
