Job Description

For a research project in the area of fusion and application of satellite image modalities, such as synthetic aperture radar (SAR) images and optical images, we are looking for a research fellow in the area of imaging techniques and applications with experience in the application of machine learning (ML)/deep learning DL) techniques.

The applicant must have experience with processing of SAR images, optical images, ML/DL, and imaging techniques and applications.

It is required that the applicant attaches a concise research portfolio to the resume to showcase research work as well as a copy of relevant research publications.

Qualifications

•    Possess, or about to receive, a PhD or after submission of thesis in the area of remote sensing or deep learning techniques applied to SAR and optical images.
•    Experience in the application of ML/DL to remote sensing.
•    Able to work independently and in a team.
•    Open to fixed-term contract.
