Job Description

The successful candidate will work with Assoc Prof Cai Zhenning on Numerical Simulation of Open Quantum Systems under a project on "Long-time Simulation of Open Quantum Systems for Spin Chains and Non-Relativistic Particles".

The main responsibilities of the position include:
1.    Develop algorithms and write scientific papers for the research project.
2.    Attend regular group meetings and present his research work.
3.    Collaborate with other colleagues and students in the research group.

Qualifications / Discipline:

- PhD degree in Applied/Computational Mathematics

Skills:
- C/C++ and MATLAB programming languages, knowledge in partial differential equations and quantum mechanics.

Experience:  
- At least two years of research experience in scientific computing
