Job Description

 

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to conduct advanced research on the mesoscale mechanical modelling of concrete corrosion. 


The successful candidate will develop and implement computational models to simulate transport, chemical reactions, and damage evolution in cementitious materials. Responsibilities include designing numerical algorithms, validating models against experimental data, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. 

Job Requirements

 

  • Possess a PhD in cement & concrete technology, civil engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • Preferably with a strong expertise in computational mechanics and programming. 
  • Prior experience with Multiphysics modelling and corrosion processes is preferred. 
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills. 
  • Track record for strong publication is highly desirable.
  •  Open to fixed-term contract.
