Job Description

• Conduct research on quantum algorithms, including their design, analysis, and implementation – for Quantum application
• Explore algorithms for applications in fields such as optimization, machine learning, chemistry and biology simulation, finance and cryptography.
• Develop and optimize hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for near-term quantum devices.
• Collaborate with software engineers to implement and test quantum algorithms on hardware platforms (e.g., gate-model quantum computers or quantum annealers).
• Collaborate with industry partners for research and development of Quantum computing applications.
• Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present results at leading conferences.

Qualifications

• Candidate must hold a PhD in numerical quantum physics or similar. 
• The candidate must have a strong background in numerical computations, with expertise in exact diagonalization and/or tensor networks. Competences in neural networks will also be considered. 
• Familiarity with QIBO is desirable.
