Job Description
To lead the engineering, commissioning, and operation of the pilot plant, including equipment installation, process integration, leak testing, interlock validation, staged start-up, and continuous performance evaluation. They will also conduct process safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA), ensure compliance with EHS and engineering standards, and perform techno-economic analysis (TEA) and life cycle assessment (LCA) to support process optimization, technology scale-up, and commercialization.
Job Requirements
1. PhD in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
2. Experience in pilot plant engineering, process commissioning, or industrial process operations.
3. Knowledge of process safety methodologies, including HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and EHS management.
4. Experience in techno-economic analysis (TEA) and/or life cycle assessment (LCA) for chemical or energy processes is preferred.
5. Familiarity with process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, Aspen HYSYS) and engineering standards (e.g., ISO, IEC, ASME) is an advantage.
6. Experience with hydrogen, natural gas, high-temperature processes, or pilot-scale facilities is highly desirable.
7. Strong analytical, project coordination, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and industrial partners.
