Job Description
Applications are requested for Research Fellow position on climate change, weather extremes, energy capacity expansion modelling, and renewable energy management. This position will be based in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the National University of Singapore (NUS).
The selected RF is required to:
- Develop and enhance existing energy capacity expansion models
- Create a novel integrated framework that incorporates climate extremes for resilient power system planning
- Collaborate with the PI on reports and project deliverables
- Help to co-supervise PhD students
Job Requirements
• Possess a PhD degree in civil engineering, hydrology, water resources engineering, optimization, seasonal forecasting, machine learning, or from similar programs.
• Extensive experience in developing complex computer codes, e.g. in Python, R, or Shell.
• Ability to construct and write papers for leading research journals and conferences.
• Good written and spoken communication.
• Open to fixed-term contract.
