Job Description

The Research Fellow 
•    will work closely with the Principal Investigator, Dr. LIN Yiliang, on the research project of liquid metal composites design for soft electronic applications.
•    will help to develop new strategies for functional fibers fabrication, perform materials characterization, fabricate soft conductive materials toward wearable electronic devices/textiles.

Job Requirement

•    A PhD degree in a relevant area, e.g., Materials Science, Polymer Science, Materials Physics, Microelectronics or a closely related discipline
•    Good publication record
•    A background in conductive composites design, electromechanical properties characterization, soft electronic device design and characterization
•    Any experience with 1) Conductive composites design and characterization, 2) Fiber-based electronic devices fabrication is a plus
•    This position is available from Apr 2026
