Job Description
The postdoctoral position focuses on advanced research in robotics, particularly embodied intelligent systems, robotic perception, and soft robots. Research topics include, but are not limited to, soft robotic systems, intelligent sensing and perception for robots, multimodal human-robot interaction, bioinspired robotic design, and integrated sensing-actuation-control strategies. The appointee will be responsible for conducting high-impact research, developing novel robotic platforms, publishing in top-tier journals and conferences, and supporting research proposal preparation and student mentorship.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related disciplines. Candidates with prior postdoctoral research experience will be preferred. Applicants should demonstrate strong expertise in robotic systems, with experience in one or more of the following areas: robotic perception, soft robotics, tactile sensing, intelligent control, bioinspired robotics, or human-robot interaction. Hands-on ability in robotic design, fabrication, prototyping, and experimental system development is highly desirable. A strong track record of publications, the ability to work independently, and good communication skills in English are required for preparing research progress reports and presentations.
