Job Description
The candidate is expected to perform experimental work that combines TEM sample preparation, focusing on heating and cooling experiments, aberration-corrected STEM, as well as monochromated Electron Energy-Loss Spectroscopy.
All experiments will be performed on ultrathin, graphene-like films. Advanced STEM and EELS data processing will be performed, as well as the drafting of scientific manuscripts.
Qualifications
The candidate is expected to hold a PhD degree, or is awaiting the outcome of the PhD thesis submission. The candidate will have 3-4 years of hands-on experience with aberration-corrected STEM and monochromated electron energy-loss spectroscopy. The candidate is expected to work efficiently and supportively with students, research fellows, and collaborators.
