The NUS Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) fosters a lifelong relationship between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and its alumni. It provides a platform for alumni to stay connected with the University and each other through various programmes, events, and networking opportunities. OAR supports alumni in their personal and professional development, encouraging their involvement in university initiatives and community service. By promoting a vibrant and engaged alumni network in Singapore and globally, OAR aims to strengthen the NUS community, enhance its reputation, and contribute to the university's mission of excellence in education, research, and service to society.

Job Description

The candidate will be responsible for engaging alumni residing outside Singapore, including China, as well as planning, organising and delivering alumni-focused programmes, events and activities.

•    Be an active part of Global Engagement team in engaging alumni residing outside Singapore.
•    Work hand-in-hand with alumni and overseas alumni groups including China to create a collegial community.
•    Support overseas alumni leaders in the areas of communication and administration.
•    Organise and/or support alumni-focused events and activities in gateway cities.
•    Generate original content for social media posts with news and events.
•    Collaborate with other NUS colleagues on alumni activities, where relevant.
•    Support other activities as and when needed.

Qualifications

•    A recognised degree with at least 3 years of work experience, preferably in engagement, partnerships or marketing. 
•    A self-starter who is creative, resourceful and good with people.
•    A good communicator with strong diplomacy skills.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
•    Good project management skills, meticulous and attentive to details.
•    Hands-on, adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
•    Willingness to occasionally work beyond regular office hours and on weekends, when necessary.
