Job Description

We are seeking an experienced individual well-versed in admissions, outreach and marketing to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal to support and lead efforts in the recruitment of high quality undergraduate students into the Business School.


The incumbent would be expected to lead a small team and execute marketing and outreach strategies, manage the admissions process, and provide data-driven insights to enhance enrolment outcomes. The role includes extensive stakeholder engagement to strengthen the programme's visibility and appeal, as well as overseeing scholarship management and scholar engagement.


1. Admissions and Financial Aid Management

  • Oversee operations and processes of all admission interviews.
  • Review admissions and financial aid processes and execute improvement plans.
  • Participate in the selection and administration of scholarships, bursaries, and aptitude based admissions.
  • Manage admissions processes for incoming full-time students (including international and transfer applicants), as well as Double Degree Programmes mid-stream applications.
  • Develop scholar engagement and development programmes to foster a strong scholar community that remains connected and contributes positively to the School.

 

2. Event Planning and Execution

  • Advise on plans and execution of key engagement events such as NUS Open House, Masterclasses, sharing sessions (both physical and online).
  • Represent NUS Business School at admissions fairs and outreach events at local pre-tertiary institutions.
  • Respond to admissions enquiries through phone, email, and social media channels.


3. Marketing and Outreach Initiatives

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote the NUS BBA degree and its majors and minors.
  • Manage and deliver outreach events to attract and retain high-calibre prospective students.


4. Digital and Print Media Management

  • Oversee content creation, manage and oversee revamp for the programme office’s website.
  • Supervise the creation of high-quality marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, and direct mailers.
  • Supervise the creation and distribution of digital media content, including e-mailers and social media posts.


5. Social Media and Online Presence

  • Work within the team to increase efforts on social media platforms for BIZ Undergraduate features, including content creation and performance analysis.
  • Leverage social media and online platforms to maximize outreach and engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • At least 7 years of relevant experience in admissions, marketing, or student recruitment in the higher education sector.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, CRM systems).
  • Experience in managing scholarship programmes and/or student development initiatives is a strong advantage.
  • Strategic thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Willingness to work evenings or weekends during peak outreach or admissions periods.
