Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled candidate to join our research team working on a cutting-edge project focused on the structural application of 3D concrete printing. The selected candidate will contribute to advancing the field of construction through research and development in the area of 3D printed concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Conduct structural analysis of precast concrete elements using advanced numerical simulations.
•    Perform experimental research on the structural properties of 3D printed concrete materials and structures in alignment with Singapore Standards.
•    Develop new design guides for the structural application of 3D printed concrete.
•    Collaborate with the principal investigator to mentor junior researchers and students.
•    Attend meetings with the grantor to present progress updates and prepare detailed technical reports.
•    Write and publish technical papers based on research findings.

Job Requirements

•    Possess a PhD degree in Civil Engineering.
•    Has relevant experience with advanced numerical simulations for structural analysis.
•    Good knowledge of local standards for construction materials and structural design.
•    Strong experimental research skills and experience in working with concrete materials.
•    Good written and spoken communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
•    Prior experience in mentoring or supervising junior researchers or students is preferred.
•    Ability to prepare and deliver progress reports and technical publications.
•    Open to fixed-term contract
