Job Description

This role seeks an organised, meticulous and proactive Temporary Executive (Student Life & CET) reporting to the Senior Manager. Based in the Department of Communications and New Media, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, the incumbent will support the smooth administration and operations relating to the courses and programmes under its Continuing Education arm, as well as activities to support the development of students.

The initial contract is for six months, with renewal subject to performance assessment. 

Qualifications

  • Have at least a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputable university
  • Demonstrate experience and competency in working with and synthesising information from different sources 
  • Have a strong command of the English language and be able to write in a clear and engaging manner, with a keen eye for grammar, detail and accuracy
  • Be resourceful in getting things done and be able to meet deadlines and work well with others
  • Demonstrate competency in using social media for content creation, network and audience engagement
  • Competent in using design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Canva
  • Proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, charts)

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the portfolio runs smoothly and effectively, prioritising learners’ needs while maintaining programme integrity and alignment with university and departmental objectives.
  • Deliver service excellence by assisting learners with course-related matters, experiential learning components, and wellbeing issues.
  • Lead a functional role within CNM Administration and collaborate closely with all team members.
  • Support the organisation of activities related to Student Life across programmes.
  • Support outreach efforts by promoting the programme in Singapore and the region, including organising programme briefings and managing digital marketing collaterals and social media content.
  • Collaborate with the Programme Director, faculty members, and the Dean’s Office to meet portfolio-related deadlines and documentation requirements.
  • Support special projects assigned by the Admin Lead (or delegate).
  • Support SSG funding–related administrative matters.
  • Any other tasks delegated by Admin Lead or delegate.
