Job Description

University Health Centre (UHC) set up under NUS, is a holistic healthcare provider for the NUS community.  You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team under UHC to provide quality clinic and administrative supports to ensure smooth and efficient running of the clinic’s operations. 

We are seeking detail-oriented Temporary Management Support Staff to support our clinic’s records retention and secure disposal workflow. The role involves handling sensitive medical documents, verifying compliance with retention requirements, and carrying out secure document disposal in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
•    Review and check physical medical records against the clinic database to determine eligibility for disposal in accordance with records retention policies. 
•    Verify that all relevant medical documents have been properly uploaded into the clinic system prior to physical disposal. 
•    Ensure uploaded records are complete, legible, accurately matched to the correct patient, and free from missing pages or duplicate documentation. 
•    Prepare records for disposal in controlled and documented batches and carry out secure shredding procedures. 
•    Maintain accurate logs and documentation of records reviewed, batches processed, exceptions identified, and disposal activities completed.
•    Adhere strictly to confidentiality, data protection, and document control protocols at all times to safeguard patient information.
•    Other ad hoc clinic and administrative supports as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

•    GCE "O" Level / ITE / Diploma Holders
•    Meticulous and detail-oriented
•    Good planning and organizational skills 
•    Able to work independently as well as part of the team 
•    Relevant work experience in healthcare, hospitality or service industries will be an advantage
•    Basic Microsoft Office skills
