Job Description
We seek a distinguished scholar for the position of Visiting Associate Professor with specialised expertise in the economic, regulatory, and policy frameworks governing the cultural and creative industries. The successful candidate will support the Master of Arts (Arts and Cultural Entrepreneurship) programme by providing research-led teaching and departmental leadership.
Qualifications
A PhD in International Business, Public Policy, Communications, or a closely related field, with a proven track record of interdisciplinary research with an expertise in the intersections between arts and culture, economics, and global markets.
Candidates must have an excellent track record in research and a demonstrated ability to teach broadly across the curriculum including the arts business, legal and regulatory constraints of creative cultural industries and cultural diplomacy.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include teaching in our Master of Arts (Arts and Cultural Entrepreneurship) coursework programme and departmental research leadership. Other duties include supervision of honours students and graduate students, and administrative services. The anticipated start date is July 2026.
